A politicians son and a spoilt brat, Rudra, falls in love with a simple girl, Jyoti. However, Jyoti is set to be married to the politicians employee, Ashutosh. Who is destined to be with Jyoti?

Upon learning about the party at Tara Pattnaik's house, Bhoomi forbids her father to go there. Instead, she decides to work on his behalf in the party. Meanwhile, Tara spots Joydeep returning home in an inebriated state. As she tries to stop him from consuming more alcohol, he gets agitated. Thereafter, the two take up a vigorous verbal fight with each other and a furious Joydeep breaks his glass. Later, while entering the house, one of the broken pieces of glass pierces through Bhoomi's foot.

While Bhoomi expresses her curiosity to know about Mr Pattnaik’s physically challenged condition, the maid narrates her the story. Meanwhile, Jansi gives a long list of food menu to Bhoomi and commands her to prepare those. She has no option but to abide by the order to prevent her father from being fired. Afterwards, when the guests in the party look for Joydeep, Tara introduces her gorgeous daughter Megha to everyone. Later, Rohit informs them that Joydeep is having rest due to exhaustion.

The moment Celina, daughter of O P Sharma, notices Joydeep, she tries to seduce him. Upon being asked who she is, she introduces herself. Furthermore, she coaxes Joydeep to give her company. However, Joydeep commands Chulbuli to give her company and makes his way out subtly. Afterwards, unaware of any continental recipes, Bhoomi starts preparing Indian food. As Chulbuli takes the dishes to serve the guests, Bhoomi prays and hopes that the guests like her preparations.

Upon spotting Joy in the corridor, Bhoomi decides to confront him to know his motives. She stumbles while chasing him and he holds her. However, he instantly recognises her to be the same girl who came before his bike the other day. Subsequently, a furious Joy pulls her forcibly to the storeroom. He ties her mouth and hands and locks the room from outside. Meanwhile, Celina feels insulted due to Joy's behaviour and yells at Tara. Later, Dayanidhi reaches Pattnaik house with Bhoomi's bracelet.

Bhoomi strives hard to free herself from the shackles. She grabs a broken glass piece by using her wit. She then cuts the ropes she was tied with. Thereafter, she bangs the door. However, she realises that it is locked from outside and nobody is around to attend to her. When she starts feeling claustrophobic, she opens the balcony door. Next, she spots Joy aiming his gun at her father. She climbs down with the help of a rope and rushes to protect her father. Meanwhile, the bullet hits her.

Joydeep’s friends advise him to apologise to his parents and sort the issue. Later the cops interrogate Bhoomi and ask her if someone wanted to harm her. Much against her father’s wishes, Bhoomi points out at Joydeep. When the cops arrest Joydeep, he threatens Bhoomi with dire consequences. Later, Joydeep’s aunt asks Tara to take revenge against Bhoomi. Later, Tara tells Joydeep to teach Bhoomi a lesson. Thereafter, Shweta tells Bhoomi that she has done a courageous job.

Bhoomi emphasises on the attributes she is seeking in her life partner while describing to Shweta. Meanwhile, an inebriated Joyjeet, turns furious upon recollecting the past few days' events. Thereafter, he affirms to seek the most brutal form of revenge on Bhoomi. On the other hand, Dayanidhi is called for and Tara has a word with him regarding the complaint filed against Joyjeet. He is asked to convince Bhoomi to withdraw the complaint against Joyjeet.

The story showcases the life and struggles of a girl called Bhoomi, whose whole life revolves around her father. She has been brought up so simply that she believes in a utopian world, where bad and evil people like Ravana only existed in novels and fiction. Hence she also dreams of getting married to a simple sober man like any other girl. She is in for a massive shock, when circumstantially she gets married to Jayjeet who is the son of a rich landlord and is a spoilt brat. Bhoomi however takes it up in her stride and vows to bring a change in Jayjeet
