Hema drags Vidya back home and berates her. As punishment, Hema goes to scald Kaushalya but Vidya promises her aunt that she will stay away from Raghav and his wife. Hema says that she will not punish Kaushalya and scalds Vidyas hand instead! Kaushalya apologises to her daughter for her mistake. On the other hand, the priest gives Raghav and Uma a list of the prospective brides. Uma sees a name struck off, but is still able to read Vidyas name. Meanwhile, Kaushalya falls ill in the middle of the night but her family refuse to hear Vidyas plea for help. Vidya escapes and goes to fetch medicines for her mother. Vidya meets the doctor who gives her the medicines. However, on her way back, she is confronted by Harsh and his goons. Harshs goon breaks the medicine bottle. Just then, she sees a truck approaching and seeks help from a boy who offers her a lift. The boy turns out to be Raghavs nephew Cheenu (Manish Naggdev). Harsh then sees Vidyas earring fallen. Cheenu and Vidya get talking, and she mentions that she had seen his cousin, Sagar, swimming. Vidya reaches home but is caught red-handed by Hema. Hema demands to know from Vidya where she had gone, so Kaushalya replies that she had gone to fetch medicines for her. However, Vidya has no medicine to show, so Hema drags her out of the house and calls out to the neighbours. Hema slanders her name. Just then, Harsh arrives there and says that Vidya had come to meet him.

Hema diverts the attention of Raghav and Uma, and gestures Vidya to leave. Raghav and Uma visit Harish and they ask Hema to bring Shalu. Just then, they see Vidya helping children with their lines in a mythological drama. However, when she sees them, she escapes. Uma hears the children call out Vidyas name and she recalls it scribbled in the list of eligible girls given by the priest. Raghav and Uma come to Harishs house and inform Kaushalya that they want Vidyas hand in marriage for their son Sagar.

Hema puts on a charade of being happy and congratulates Kaushalya. Raghav apologises to Shalu and says that even she will soon find a good groom. Later, as punishment, Hema goes to scald Vidyas face with a burnt log but Kaushalya warns Hema that it is her husbands house that they were living in! She cautions Hema not to inflict any more injustices on Vidya. A furious Hema pushes Kaushalya and Vidya, and Vidya falls near Raghavs feet. Raghav and Uma return to Kaushalyas house because Uma had forgotten her purse. Raghav warns Hema to bestow Vidya with the same respect that she would on a landlords son, and address her with dignity as `Choti Thakurien (Landlords wife). Raghav informs Kaushalya that the wedding will take place soon. When Kaushalya asks Raghav to seek Sagars opinion first, he assures her that nobody could disapprove of Vidya. Later at home, Vidya tells her mother that she is not deserving of becoming the wife of Raghavs younger son. She pleads with Raghav to reject her and asks him to get Shalu married to Sagar. Raghav tells Vidya that their match was the decision of God. Uma gives a letter to Vidya saying that her husband had written it to her because he would not be able to personally speak about the matter with her. Vidya asks Radha to read it because she is illiterate. However, in the process, one of the leaves of the letter falls in the river and the page gets smudged. Radha is only able to read the other page that asks Vidya to come to the temple in the evening if she agrees to the match. When Raghav and Uma see Vidya at the temple later, they are thrilled that Vidya has agreed to marry Sagar. Cheenu gives Vidya a jacket belonging to Sagar. Meanwhile, Kaushalya remembers Sagar as a child and how he would play with Vidya. On the other hand, a vengeful Hema goes to Harshs house. What is Hemas plan?

Harsh is surprised when Hema puts forth Vidyas wedding proposal to him! He cant believe that everyone, including Vidya, has agreed for Vidyas and his marriage. Harsh informs Hema that he will be going out of town but would return soon. On the other hand, Vidya thanks God for the happiness bestowed on her. Kaushalya asks Harish and Hema to lend her Rs. 100,000/- for the wedding expenses but they say they dont have the money. Hema suggests to her to mortgage the house, so Kaushalya agrees but asks Harish and her to keep it a secret from Vidya. Meanwhile, Kaushalya asks Vidya to return the jacket to Sagar. Raghav tells Uma about the consequences if their daughters get a whiff about Sagars wedding but she pacifies him. Uma has preparations to do for the wedding, so Vidya volunteers to stay back at their place with Raghav because he is unwell. Vidya goes near the car to keep Umas purse when Sagar asks for his jacket from Vidya. On the other hand, Harish gets the mortgage papers and asks Kaushalya to give her thumb impression on it. Kaushalya obliges. Raghav tells Vidya that he is planning to fire Harish and Hema but she asks him not. Vidya further says that if they were to relocate, then her mother will never be happy because her roots were here. An impressed Raghav tells Vidya that she is his daughter from now on. Hema lies that they were discussing Vidyas wedding. She then tells Shalu that they will get the house and neither will Sagar marry Vidya! On the other hand, Raghav informs Vidya that there were a few members of his family whom she should know about. He starts talking about his eldest daughter, Sindoora and her husband Aniket. Just then Raghav receives a call from Sindoora, and he angrily tells her that come what may, Vidya will become his daughter-in-law, and he will not wait for her to return from London! Just then, he collapses and asks Vidya to get a specific medicine from the box. However, she is unable to read, so she goes up to him and says that she cannot read. She is shocked to see that he has passed out. However, he regains consciousness soon and has the tablet. Meanwhile, Cheenu puts his aunts concern to rest and assures Uma that Vidya had indeed read the letter and approved of Sagar for his simplicity. Vidya stays back with Raghav although it is very late at night. Raghav tells her that he is confident she will keep his family together even after he is gone. Much to the chagrin of Hema and her family, Raghav informs Kaushalya that he desires that Vidya and Sagar get married the next day itself. Hema gets worried because Harsh is to return only two days later. Hema thinks about how to summon him to stop Vidyas marriage. Raghav takes Vidya to his ancestral temple and sees Sagar playing his guitar. Raghav asks Vidya to promise him never to leave Sagar. He thanks her for accepting Sagar without asking any questions. Cheenu informs Raghav that his daughters have already left from London. A worried Raghav says that they must get Vidya and Sagar married before his daughters reach Benares. Vidya gets emotional thinking about her last day in her native town of Benares and her home. When Vidya asks Kaushalya where she got the money for the wedding, Kaushalya lies that Harish and Hema had helped her. Hema comes just then and warns Kaushalya to get Vidyas thumb impression on the house documents. Raghav hopes that Sindoora does not reach Benares before the wedding. Raghav asserts to a worried Uma that he will not fall ill tonight, on the occasion of Sagars wedding. Meanwhile, a hesitant Kaushalya asks Vidya to put her thumb impression on the property documents by lying to her that she will get monthly pension once she submits the papers. On the other hand, Sindoora and her sisters leave for Benares. During a pre-nuptial ceremony, the wicked Hema asks Vidya to write her husbands name with vermillion on the rice granules. Hema then asks her to also sing a song having her husbands name. Vidya and Kaushalya are stunned and upset. Shalu informs Raghav and Uma that Vidya cannot write Sagars name because she is illiterate. Hema and her family are jubilant while Raghav and Uma are shocked. Vidya tells Raghav that she always tried to tell him that she was not deserving of his son but he kept brushing her aside. Raghav tells Vidya that he approves of her the way she is. Uma and he get worried wondering whether Vidya knows the truth about Sagar but pray that Vidya has agreed only after knowing the truth. Sindoora gets inside her car and Harsh rushes towards her but the cop asks him to sit in his own vehicle. The cop then allows only Sindooras car to leave. Harsh fights with the cop and demands that he also be allowed to go, so the cop orders his men to put him in jail for assaulting him! Things turn worse for Harsh when he tries to bribe him, so the cop slaps him. Meanwhile, Cheenu asks Sagar whether he likes Vidya, so Sagar replies that he does because she is always smiling and also likes the water just as he does. On the other hand, Vidya tells Radha that she cant believe her good fortune about getting married into such a good and wealthy family. Shalu tells her mother that because Raghav and Uma accepted Vidya in spite of knowing she is illiterate, Sagar surely must be a boy of vices! When Kaushalya is all set to take the bride to the temple, Hema intervenes and says that widows attending weddings is considered inauspicious but Vidya asserts that she must accompany her. Uma arrives just then and supports Vidya. Hema and Shalu see Sagar for the first time and are surprised to see that he is so handsome. The wedding rituals begin, when it starts pouring heavily. Vidya and Sagar are performing the nuptial rites when Sagar stops midway and runs to enjoy the rains. Everyone is shocked! Hema tells Kaushalya that Sagar is a madman! Vidya is stunned!

Plot of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann TV Show
Banoo Main Teri Dulhann is a drama TV show about a beautiful, simple, loyal Vidya from Banaras. Her uncle's family tortures her and does not allow Vidya to get an education. Raghav Pratap Singh, a wealthy landlord from Delhi, finds Vidya and decides to marry her to his son Sagar. Sindoora, Sagar's evil step-sister, wants the entire property and her. She tries to kill Sagar but is unsuccessful, leaving him mentally unstable. Sindoora and her younger sisters Chandra and Mahua pester Vidya constantly. Sindoora's ex-husband Aniket and son Bharat support Vidya. Sagar undergoes an operation and becomes normal but does not remember the past. Sindoora tries to kill Sagar again, but her husband, Aniket, becomes paralyzed while trying to protect Sagar. Sagar's aunt Gayatri helps Vidya get rid of Sindoora. Vidya learns to read and write. Sindoora blames Aniket and sends him to jail. She hires a goon to kill Gayatri. Later, Sindoora kills Vidya and Sagar. Bharat learns about the murders and escapes.
