Season 9 of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya brings to you stories of eternal unrequited love. This story is about two parallel love stories during the partition of India-Pakistan. Puro, the apple of her father’s eye was an extremely understanding and giving person. She adored her younger brother, Trilok and made sure he is always happy. Both of them were to marry Ramcharan and Simran respectively, who were siblings as well and they lived with their Biji. Puro and Trilok along with their parents head to their in laws village to celebrate Lohri and begin the wedding preparations. Puro and Ramcharan maintained a dignified distance from each other and had mutual admiration whereas Trilok and Simran didn’t start on a great note and were seen having frequent spats with each other. Everything seemed to be going on in a steady pace until a young Muslim boy, Rashid stormed into the house and kidnapped Puro in vengeance to what her family did to his family a long time ago. Puro’s father begs to Rashid and his mother for Puro but in vain. In order to save the dignity of both the families they decide to go ahead with the wedding of Trilok and Simran and Ramcharan with Puro’s cousin, Rajjo. Trilok is unaware of Puro’s kidnapping as he was at Delhi for some work so the family decides to keep it a secret and covers it up with a lie to carry on the wedding. Meanwhile Puro escapes from Rashid’s house and comes back to where her family is and to her shock sees the two weddings taking place right before her. Will Puro be accepted by her family? Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya - Season 09 - Episode 02 - Nov 25, 2016 - Full Episode
This episode of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya revisits the old folklore of Punjab with a twist of modernism. Heer and Dheedho belong to two rival families of Punjab, the Gills & the Bhattals. Dheedho’s eldest brother, Amrinder worked for Heer’s grandfather, Surjit. Amrinder learned the tricks of the business and abandoned Surjit to launch a business of his own. Amrinder’s betrayal is the reason for Surjit’s hatred towards his entire family. Heer loves her grandfather Surjit and shares a very close bond with him and always follows his advice. She has a great voice which was recognized by Mr. Bakshi in her college but decides to give the opportunity of becoming a singer a miss and makes a sacrifice for her grandfather. It’s love at first sight for Dheedho towards Heer. He is instantly attracted to her and follows her around in college and elsewhere with the help of his friends. He confesses his love for her and she reciprocates as well. The love between them is not ordinary. It’s soulful. But these good times don’t seem to last too long. Heer’s family catches the both of them red handed and decides to separate the two by getting Heer married to someone else. Heer’s marriage shatters Ranjha. Ranjha tries to relieve his pain through singing. His voice is recognized by Mr. Bakshi who offers him a chance to become a rock star. Ranjha becomes a star overnight but the pain in his heart refuses to leave. He takes resort in drugs, alcohol and puts himself through hell. Will Ranjha ever be able to overcome the loss of love? Or will love come knocking by at his door once again?

Despite their family's rivalry, Heer and Dido decide to get married. However, Surjit, Heer's grandfather, plans to poison Dido on his wedding day.
Episode 4 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Sahiba falls in love with Mirzya. Jogiya learns that Sahiba is having an affair with Mirzya. Sahiba and Mirzya try to flee, but Sikandar and Jogiya catch them.
Episode 5 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Varun decides to exact revenge on Kavya. He later makes her fall for him and gets her pregnant. Kavya then reveals to her mother that Varun is the father of her baby.
Episode 6 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Priti's parents insist she marry Ranvir, but she falls in love with Guddu. She later learns that Ranvir is after Kuldeep's money. Guddu stops Ranvir from taking Priti with him.
Episode 7 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Rozy narrates Anshuman and Christina's love story to their son, Kriansh. He learns that his parents had decided to die together after Christina was diagnosed with brain tumour.
Episode 8 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Rohan decides to be Alisha's dance partner for a competition, but she then decides to make Vikrant her partner. Vikrant later replaces Alisha with another dance partner.
Episode 9 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Often people try to change one another’s habits when in love. This story is about acceptance of love as it is. Deepna is a fat girl who lives life with utmost positivity and never gives up hope. Deepna’s parents are extremely loving and supportive of every decision of hers. Deepna always dreamt of her Prince Charming but never happens to see his face clearly in the dreams. Little did she know that she would find the man of her dreams? Rajveer, Deepna’s fiancé was all that she dreamt of. He was handsome as well as well spoken. Deepna is to marry Rajveer very soon but it doesn’t seem as perfect as Deepna pictured it to be. Rajveer is extremely judgmental about Deepna. He constantly makes digs at her eating habits and is ashamed of hanging out with her when her friends are around. Whereas Deepna’s childhood best friend, Rahat has always been supportive of Deepna. Episode 10 - Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Rajvir nags Deepna to lose weight. She later spends time with Rahat and realises that she feels more comfortable with him. Rahat exposes Rajvir for pursuing another girl.
