Arundhati tells Narendran to ask Achuthan for a share of his wealth. Achuthan passes away in an accident on the way to Meghana’s wedding. Arundhati devises a plot against Meghana.

Arundhati puts up an act in front of Meghana’s groom’s family. She coaxes Meghana to convince her siblings to join them. Her effort to get Achuthan’s lawyer friend to hand her Meghana’s wealth, fails.

Meghana bids farewell to everyone at home and leaves for Mangalore. While there, Meghana outsmarts the rickshaw driver, who tries to kidnap her, and later stumbles across a stranger in an office.

The office owner, Mithun, gets Meghana and her siblings arrested. Narendran shares his concern with Arundhati about what could have befallen his nieces. Rahul criticises Mithun's action.

Meghana tells Shalini that she got arrested because of Mithun. She makes Mithun pay an old man, whose cart Mithun’s car collides with. Arundhati scolds Jagadish, who seeks Shalini's hand in marriage.

Meghana expresses her dissent over Arundhati’s decision to get her married to Jagadish. Arundhati coaxes Meghana to agree. Arunima advises Mithun to think twice before doing something.

Meghana feels uneasy as Jagadish takes her to a pub. She runs into Mithun as she escapes from Jagadish’s clutches. Jagadish puts up an act in front of Meghana to convince her to marry him.

Mithun’s parents tell him about the heirloom chain they intend to give to their future daughter-in-law. Vivek tells Mithun what happened at the jewellery store. Jagadish blackmails the resort owner.

Meghana and her siblings rejoice to see Sekharan. Later, Meghana and her family reach the resort for the wedding. Sekharan criticises Arundhati’s choice of groom for Meghana.
