Vishnu's praises for Shalini upsets Sushmita. Sharika grows suspicious of the change in Sharda's behaviour. Preeti tries to find out if Vishnu is in love with Shalini.

Shalini scoffs at Sarala for giving her a tip. Gopalakrishnan corrects Rajeshwari when she doubts if Sharada will sign the document. Shalini quarrels with Sharada over Sushmita.

Sharika suspects Sharada, who stops Shalini from putting the money in the rice container. Later, Sharika sees Sharda taking out the money and documents from the rice box and questions her.

Sharada returns Gopalakrishnan's money and announces her decision. Rajeshwari loses her cool over it. Shalini meets Arjunan to discuss the case.

Fearing Gopalakrishnan’s threat to jeopardize her daughter’s wedding, Sharada takes back the money. Vishnu changes his decision to ask for the money he lent Antappan, when he sees Shalini there.

As advised by his friend, Vishnu follows Shalini, who is going on a scooter. Meanwhile, Balachandran steals money from Sharada. Later, the SI insults Sharada at the police station.

Sharada's words leave the SI speechless. Shalini thanks Vishnu when she learns why he followed her. Shalini warns Rajeev, who meets Sharika at a restaurant.

Sharada lies to Shalini about the bruise on her head. Rajeshwari hopes Sharada will vacate the house due to the lack of money. Shalini doubts a worried Sharada.

Sharada shares her worries with Sharika. Dasan tells Vishnu a way to meet Shalini at night. Vishnu, disguised as a beggar, accompanied by Dasan and Komalan, meets Shalini.

Dasan scolds Kamalan for addressing Shalini 'sister-in-law'. Shalini advises Vishnu when he mocks Dasan. Rajeshwari sends Anoop to Sharada’s hotel to get food.
